The floor
Four courts, built to spec
Cushioned synthetic flooring, glare-free lighting overhead and non-air conditioning that holds through an evening of doubles.
Built to spec
Full size, every court
No shortened halls, no shared run-off. Each of the four courts is laid out to the same dimensions you would play a district draw on.
On the floor
Four courts, one standard
Pick a court when you book, or let the desk put you on whichever is free.
Centre court
Widest run-off and the seating side. Where finals are played.
Court two
Paired with centre court for doubles nights and league fixtures.
Coaching court
Nearest the store, so drills, cones and shuttle tubes stay close.
Early bird court
First one lit at 4 AM, close at 11 PM.
Before you play
What to bring, what we ask
Bring these
Everything else you can borrow or buy at the desk.
- Non-marking shoes. Court soles only — street shoes scuff the vinyl and we will ask you to change.
- A water bottle. There is a refill point beside the desk.
- Your own racket if you have one. If not, demo rackets are on loan, free.
- Shuttles are sold by the tube at the desk, feather and nylon.
Lockers and changing rooms are free to use — ask at the desk for a key.
House rules
Short list, and all of it is about keeping the floor playable.
- 01Slots run to the hour. Finish the rally, then hand over.
- 02Cancel four hours ahead and the slot is refunded in full.
- 03No food on the courts. Drinks in a closed bottle are fine.
- 04Under-14s need an adult in the hall, on court or on the seating.
- 05Coaching by outside coaches is by arrangement with the desk.
